The Headteacher
Sixth Formers at St Bernard’s thrive when they immerse themselves in the wide range of leadership tasks and extra-curricular responsibilities we offer. We offer work experience in Year 12 and support students to participate in supra curricular schemes offered by top universities.
The Head Student Team
Our names are Liza, Benita and Melissa and we are proud to be the Head Student Team at St Bernard’s.
All three of us, having been students here since Year 7, can proudly say that St Bernard’s has equipped us with skills for the future.
Post-18 Destinations
In 2025, our Year 13 students achieved record success in highly competitive fields, including medicine, law, engineering, allied health, economics, finance, and the creative arts.
Most students (84%) progressed to higher education, with 79% securing their UCAS first-choice offer. One in five students will study at a Russell Group University, including the Universities of Birmingham, Edinburgh, Durham, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, and Southampton.
Alongside university destinations, students successfully planned gap years and secured apprenticeships with leading organisations such as BAE Systems, IBM and Google.
